Dartington Tree Nursery, Longcause, Barracks Hill, Dartington, Totnes TQ9 6DQ
Developed thanks to seed-funding from the Big Lottery Fund's Breathing Places programme and as part of the Dartington Estate Landscope project, this exciting new location will see thousands of trees grown from seed collected from Dartington's famous ancient woodlands. The trees will then be re-planted across the estate as part of an ongoing native woodland regeneration project.
Developments at the site will include many seed beds, a seed sorting and storage area, a classroom facility, a compost loo and the improvement of an existing open shelter for those all important cups of tea and slices of cake!
